Last updated: 01 January 2024

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the TaxiSaaS platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and operators of the Service.

2. Description of Service

TaxiSaaS provides a cloud-based software-as-a-service platform for taxi and cab operators to manage bookings, fleet, drivers, tariffs and billing. We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

3. Operator Accounts

  • You must apply for an operator account and be approved by TaxiSaaS before using the Service.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
  • Each account is for a single operator entity. Creating accounts on behalf of multiple businesses requires separate subscriptions.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Transmit viruses, malware or any harmful code through the Service.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble any part of the Service.
  • Resell, sublicense or redistribute access to the Service without our written consent.
  • Use the Service in a way that could damage, disable or impair its functionality.

5. Subscription and Payment

  • Access to the Service requires a paid subscription. Plans and pricing are listed on our Pricing page.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled.
  • All prices are exclusive of applicable taxes (GST).
  • Payments are due on the first day of each billing cycle.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts with overdue payments after a 7-day grace period.
  • Plan upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.

6. Data and Content

You retain ownership of all data you input into the Service, including booking records, customer information and financial data. By using the Service, you grant TaxiSaaS a limited licence to store, process and display your data solely to provide the Service. We will not use your data for any other purpose. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling.

7. Service Availability

We commit to a 99.9% monthly uptime target for the core platform. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated in advance. Unplanned downtime may occur. We are not liable for losses resulting from downtime, provided we take reasonable steps to restore service promptly.

8. Intellectual Property

The TaxiSaaS platform, including all software, design, trademarks, logos and content, is owned by TaxiSaaS and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right, title or interest in our intellectual property beyond the limited licence to use the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TaxiSaaS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard. We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without notice, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease. You may request an export of your data within 30 days of termination.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email and/or prominent notice on the platform at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
